Check Intune Tenant Service Release Version

In this article, we’ll show how to check Intune tenant service release version. The tenant details page in the Intune admin center shows the current service release version.

Microsoft releases monthly updates for Intune introducing new features, improvements, support for apps, etc. You will have access to these new features only when your tenant is running the latest service release.

The service release version of Intune tenant can be determined using two ways: Tenant Details in the admin center and PowerShell. Using the Intune admin center is the simplest and quickest way to determine your Tenant’s release version.

To check the Intune Tenant Service release version:

  • Sign in to the Microsoft Intune admin center.
  • Navigate to Tenant Administration and select Tenant Status.
  • Switch to the Tenant Details tab, and here you can find the service release version of your Intune tenant.

In the above screenshot, we see that the service release version of the Intune tenant is 2407. The version 2407 has a significance here, where ‘24‘ is the year 2024 and ‘07‘ is the July month.

You should give it a few days if you find out your Intune tenant is not up-to-date. The reason being, monthly Intune updates can take tenants up to three days to arrive, per Microsoft. You can reach out to the Intune support team if you are still unable to locate the tenant’s Intune update.
